ZAYTUNA RAMADAN 2006/1427

Zaytuna will begin Ramadan on the evening of Sept. 23rd or 24th, with the first day of the fast the following day (Sunday or Monday).

Zaytuna's determination of Islamic dates is based on local moon sighting, check the Zaytuna website for further details and moonsighting updates.

Read CESAREAN MOON BIRTHS, Shaykh Hamza's important new paper examining the issue of moon sighting and the use of calculations to determine the beginning of Islamic months.
